XPLORE YOUR FUTURE

Xplore is a remote program geared toward first and second year college students who are interested in a future tech career. Don’t worry it doesn’t mean you have to code, but you can! There are so many tech and business opportunities for you in the tech industry and we want to share them with you. Students will explore career paths through work simulations and courses with guidance provided by the TechPoint team and Mentors (volunteer tech professionals). These simulations will help participants get a sense of what a day-in-the-life of different careers look like.

Xplore will kick off on Monday, June 10th and run through Friday, July 19th. During the six-week program participants will complete work simulations and courses each week based on if you choose the tech or business pathway. Each week you will learn about a career path and can each range from two to six hours to complete.Each week participants will journal their experiences and meet in groups with their Mentors to discuss what they learned. Xplore will host bi-weekly panels with tech industry professionals to share their field knowledge and career advice. At the end of the program, participants will complete a final project to showcase everything they learned about career opportunities within the tech industry!

Any early-college students (freshmen and sophomores) who wants to explore the tech and business industries.
